First, remove the seats or sidecovers to give you access to both bikes’ batteries. Arrange another motorcycle so its good battery is close to the dead battery.
If your scooter’s battery has failed, this shouldn’t cause anything to happen.
How to start a dead battery motorcycle. There should be a section where the cable connects to the battery that you can use. Applying the jumping cables is fairly straightforward — match the corresponding colors together, and never mismatch. This is also called push starting, and is a useful trick.
Stand at the side of the bike, so you can have access to the controls. If you can’t get it started after a few tries, your battery might be fully dead; Attach the other red clip (+) to the positive (+) terminal of the good battery.
This will allow you to see the standing voltage of. Connect the positive (+) terminal on the dead battery to the live battery using the red cable ends. Also, bikes that have dual spark plugs per cylinder might be pretty hard to start if there is even a low charge on the battery, much less a dead one. Once you get the bike running, make sure to ride it for a good while in order to get it fully charged again. Remove the battery from the motorcycle.
I think about the only bikes that may be easier to start with a fairly dead battery come with kick starters already, lol. This is the easiest problem to diagnose and is probably the most common reason why a motorcycle doesn’t start. If you do have a dead battery, you can recharge it with a battery charger (this is preferred), or by jumpstarting your bike with another bike or a car.
It’s also possible to jump start a motorcycle without a battery. Symptoms of a dead battery: You'll probably need to use a small crescent wrench to loosen the battery connectors.
Attach the positive clip cable to the positive terminal (this should be a red color) on the dead motorcycle. If your bike has a kickstarter, you’re in luck, but not many modern bikes do. If it does start, always remove the negative clip.

You cannot turn the motorcycle off during that time because you won’t be able to turn it back on. All you need to do is connect the jumper cables to the positive and negative terminal wires and the motorcycle will run until you turn it off. Depending on how low your battery is, if there is some voltage left you may be able to turn the key as well as turn on your blinker, but turning it.
